Sherry, you're on an amazing journey of self-discovery.

I read Busting Loose from the Money Game last year. One caution - it's really good until the end chapters when after spending the book telling you you shouldn't have to follow anybody's specific recipe for success, he then insists that you MUST do things exactly as he dictates or you won't achieve success. Take what's useful and ignore the rest.

It's interesting when you finally get to the point where you're solid enough inside to say "No" to attention. I got to that point just before meeting Rod. I truly think it was that ability to discriminate and discern what attention was best for me and what wouldn't meet my needs that gave me the magic "void" for the perfect person to enter my life.

You can't very well meet someone perfect for you if you're always willing to settle for whatever comes along. Your life is too full of mediocre attention. But when you're willing to acknowledge that you only want the best attention, the universe goes "Ah-ha" and finally gets a clue as to what it is you really do want. That's when life gets interesting!

Sherry,
I am honored that our photography session meant so much to you. You honored me by modeling for me. It was amazing and inspiring to see your self-acceptance and the joy you felt in your body. Almost everyone I've photographed has expressed dislike of at least some part of their body, no matter how "gorgeous" society would find them to be. We are not raised to love our bodies.

It was a sacred experience painting the images of you. I kept thinking about you and your partner and the affection and love you expressed towards each other. I thought about your strength and commitment towards self-love. I think all that comes through in the paintings and makes them powerful.

Thanks for being so bold!
